Main research directions

My research interests have focused on three broad topics: (1) epidemiology of chronic diseases, particularly diabetes and cardiovascular diseases; (2) risk prediction and screening; (3) statistical methods in medical research, especially in big data analytics.

2019: PI, Research on risk-based health management by dynamic monitoring of the population: a case study in cardiovascular disease, funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China. 200,000 RMB.

2016-2018: PI, Cardiovascular risk prediction for the Chinese Population using big data: from discovery to application. Funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, 420,000 RMB.

2018-2020: PI, Prognostic model of survival for aortic dissection: from discovery to application, funded by Beijing Natural Science Foundation, China, 200,000 RMB.
