Personal profile

Prof. Liu is a professor of epidemiology and biostatistics at the School of Public Health, Peking University. She is also the Deputy Director in the Center for HIV/AIDS Prevention Research Center in Peking University. Her research interests focus on three broad topics: (1) epidemiology of infectious diseases; (2) reproductive health; and (3) Big data research and application in health. Prof. Liu is the chairman of the vice president of the second national council of maternal and child health research association, vice president of the community health promotion association in Beijing, chairman of big data working committee of on rehabilitation in the rehabilitation medical association of China, member of Expert panel of China National Health Commission, etc.. As a principal investigator, she has completed more than 50 national projects, which were funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Health Commission of China, etc. She has published more than 270 papers, including Lancet global health (IF 26.763)、Lancet infectious disease (IF 25.071)、Gut (IF 23.059)、Bull World Health Organ (IF 9.408), etc. She has awarded the first prize of the Beijing Science and Technology Award, the first prize of the Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, the first prize of National Maternal and Child Health Science and Technology Award, Advanced Collective for National Science and Technology System to Combat COVID-19 (Leader), etc..
